When I was a little child,
Well, it was just yesterday,
My mother was so tender and kind,
And my father, he was great in his day.

Yes, she was the best of world, my mummy.
My dad, he could accomplish anything.
She surely could do million things for me,
And dad, he could jump Danube like nothing.

Years later, my paradise ended, me rebelling.
Days with them changed to raw, rainy and gray…
Today, I know my father could accomplish anything,
My heart aching, for their tender souls I daily pray.

I know today,
She was the best of world, my dear mummy!
Like I knew yesterday.
